Otskhanuri Sapere is one of the distinctive aboriginal Georgian grape varieties from western Georgia. Askaneli Otskhanuri, from the Gocha collection, is distinguished by its intense varietal aromas, balanced acidity, and velvety tannins. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Its aromatic spectrum features red berry, blackberry, cherry, and black plum tones, best complemented by vanilla, baked bread, and spice aromas. It is also characterized by a fairly long finish. It is distinguished by its great aging potential. It is best served with grilled meats, stewed or spiced dishes.
