The century-old history of Georgian Kvevri wine was presented at Monte-Carlo in front of international experts.
With the initiative of Gocha Chkhaidze, in the wine palace of Monte-Carlo, the presentation and degustation of Georgian Kvevri wines were performed to popularize Georgian wine.
"I think that in the history of Georgian wine-making an interesting process has begun. I want to note with pride that company "Askaneli" is the organizer and initiator of Georgian Kvevri wine degustation at Monte-Carlo, which was attended by Georgian President - Salome Zurabishvili. This is an important support for the popularization of Georgian wine. Today we presented Georgian Kvevri wine in Monaco and the dominant country in the wine industry - France. With blind degustation 12 different Kvevri wines were selected, produced by 7 different Georgian companies. The intentional wine experts and wine-makers from all around the world tasted Georgian Kvevri wines and evaluated them. They once again noted the uniqueness of Georgian wine and Traditional Georgian wine-making methods." - declared Gocha Ckhaidze.
The event, organized by Loic Pasquet, was attended by the Prince of Monaco Albert II and the president of Georgia - Salome Zurabishvili. At the event, the founder of Askaneli, Gocha Chkhaidze, presented Georgian Kvevri wines.
